THE WORK

Write functional and design specifications; Write original source codes and revise existing software; Design and implement software solutions; Perform code reviews, unit tests, integration tests; Prepare software documents according to specific guidelines; Troubleshooting; Estimate project scope and adhere to established guidelines and metrics for quality data; Mentor other software engineers and act as senior member when designated; Keep pace with related emerging technology and trends, and introduce new tools and techniques for software development

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Graduate of BS Computer Science or any computer-related course (BS degree)
• Has 3-6 years experience programming in C, C++, and Java
• Programming experience in Unix and Linux environment is required
• Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) Certification is a plus
• Has demonstrated capacity to apply software techniques to team projects
• Has independent ability to acquire and apply software development technologies
• Good team player; With strong organizational and leadership skills
