Congratulations to the Cebu Girl Geek Dinners on their first Girl Geek Dinner. It started by munching pizza and finger foods with cold drinks, all sponsored by Exist Global Company. Each of us stood up to give a brief info about ourselves, our work, how did we get into IT and all other sorts of technology.

In a social gathering like last night, plugins are very much welcomed and encouraged.  Few to mention were my projects Cebu Directories and TechTicks, Richard Sentino’s Jobstify and Erle’s future Robotic Group.

It was a “dialogue” where we shared insights, opinions and views about the future of technology like 10-15 years from now and how technology affects our lives, fashion, food and business.  Much as I could say the future will evolve on the internet and some of the latest technologies.  Your online profiles would serve as your resume already, we might not say but its happening.

Cebu Girl Geek Dinner was started by Carmen Villadar known as “digitalfemme” on the internet and was co-organized by Marecor “Cora” Baclay of Exist Global, Reyn and Paul “superpaul” Villacorta.

Cebu Girl Geek Dinner is now part of the worldwide Girl Geek Dinner movement which was founded by Sarah Blow.
